While technically the fault has to lie with me in the "It's what you make of it" sense, I was really disappointed with Alch. All I wanted to do was dance, but there was not a thing that tickled my fancy. The D&B on the main floor was a yawn...why with such bouncy music is there no dancing? Hell, there isn't really a crowd, yet they get my fav floor grr. Outside the music just wasn't me, and it was muggy. The stage floor was um...weak. I did dance to a couple songs there, only out of frustration and trying to make myself have a good time.

I also, despite running into two people I haven't seen in years, didn't know many people there at all. Was it dead, or just full of strangers?

I needed a dance fix, and don't feel like I got it. Wah - whine, moan, bitch, sulk. Hmph.
