pretty sure that I've seen some in the 3" range too, fwiw. It may be that their wings make them look longer than they really are. Just thinking about them makes me want to recite Deniro's version of Al Capone from _The Untouchables_ .. I want them Dead, I want their families DEAD..." etc.
