Whew! I FINALLY got the HP $550 tivo to work. Yep, I got instructions to not just reset the operating system, but shut off the partition, wipe the drives, start from scratch. AvP is playing without so much as a hiccup now, it's blasting through the stereo, and the recorder is set up for robot chicken, venture bros, and metalocalpse. Good stuff.
I like Democrats. When I went to the farmer's market today, the Obama stand and Arlington Democrats were STILL THERE. They were saying thank you, giving out free coffee, giving out free muffins - and they HUNG A MCCAIN SIGN UP, with a note saying thank you for a wonderful concession speech. God what wonderful people.
