and you KNOW me, it's not like i am a mean person laughing from some ivory tower...but i just think that people's priorities are completely ridiculous and i feel like i've seen this coming for like, ten years at least. i'm sorry, it's not a tragedy if you can't afford a NEW car and a NEW big house and crap from Toys R Us for your already-overwhelmed and under-supervised children! jesus, take a look at how mom and dad (or at this point grandma and grandpa i guess) did it when they first started out. They packed lunches.
