If meat can go into meat pies, thus turning something called a pie into a main course, there's no reason cookies can't be dinner. For that matter, no reason they wouldn't make an excellent breakfast either...

I think I'll make some. It will be chaos. Chocolaty chaos. My favorite... until the next favorite...

one of my favorite dinners evar (back in my restaurant days) was to take a huge bowl, combine all available flavors of ice cream (vanilla, chocolate, coffee, raspberry sorbet, others random), oreo topping, hot fudge, caramel sauce, raspberry sauce, bananas foster sauce, and whipped cream.

one hell of a sugar rush, usually avoided the sugar crash by snacking on fries, and super tasteeeeeee.
