I wasn't sure - I have a splitter, but it seems like you won't be able to read anything without the cable box processing the signal first. I've had both systems, and comcast is real nasty about their signal.

Waiting for fios or...well something. I may wait for broadband wireless to be mroe common and cheaper and just ditch cable, phone, and internet at the same time for wireless phone and broadband.
