(no subject)
A little up, a little down.
I'm not sure how I feel about this.
ONE - no more 3 cups of coffee on Fridays, Saturdays, or Sundays, or evers. No. Not ever. 4 hours, even at a cup an hour, and I still feel not myself. Mild drug use is cute, this was too much and it's not the first time. Moderate thyself asshole.
Squats - 245, 1 set, 5 reps. Neato. I can tell that reps at that weight will go up shortly, but since it was a new weight I don't mind being cautious (last time was 225 at 10 reps) Dude beside me was going multiple sets with 8-10 plates...
Stiffies - I'm not sure. I really watched my back, still need coaching on form, but really watching the back I def felt mroe in my tushy. 225 x 10 x 2, but I still slouched a tad so I'm not sure I earned all of them.
VICTORY - flat bench, 175 at 8 reps and 6 reps. Last time was 6 and 5 reps - thought I might have had more last time, this time I was STRONG. According to http://www.exrx.net/Calculators/OneRepMax.html that means I can 1rm approx 217. My goal is 225. And I'll tell you this - I am not stopping at that goal. I always meant to stop at 225, just to be able to press 2 plates...but maybe I'll stop when I can do it 3 times. Or 5. See how this works?
I got some good sets after that...but the "interesting" part is that I nearly got sick. When I did pull ups, I started to get dizzy. Stayed dizzy on barbell rows, skipped presses since I was already on the verge of falling over (bad to do holding bar over your head). Lats, delts...and I thew up in my mouth just a little. A vurp. And more dizzy. Sat down. Didn't get less dizzy. Felt like throwing up a lot. Went upstairs and sat in a chair with my head down until someone asked if I was ok, said SURE and wandered off embarrassed and hoping I didn't pass out. Went home thinking actually passing out would suck.
Didn't miss crucial parts of my workout, but I'm not sure why the dizzy. I was trying to up intensity, but didn't feel like I was pushing it that hard. I'm happy I got some new personal bests, not happy i had to take a dive.
