Things are worse in the hospital. Was there until 1:30, calling in and going back today I think. Nurses are wonderful, good god the work they do for the pay they get.

In other news, Some advice on how to stop complaining. Yoinked from [profile] cyaneyed. It's a tad on the hokey side, but different things work for different people. This is not that different than what I do/did and advice I give.

My advice is a little different, more of a grab the bull by the horns and use logic to shout it down approach. Still, I often say don't do X or do-do Y, but don't often say how. Here is someone saying how.

I didn't bother to read the site, but I do know that sometimes complaining helps us deal with our emotions. Friends are there to help with things even if it does involve listing to someone complain. I do like the positive attitude you are taking in a really painful situation. I sure hope your dad gets better. I've found that nurses are a lot better than doctors. I trust them a whole lot more.
