Interested in the government? Willing to start from the ground up? This position is one of the gold ones - a career ladder, where you typically (but not mandatorally) get promoted 2 grades every year until you are listed in the "journeyman" status.

EDIT Newly noticed - vacancy announcement does not specifically require a college degree!
If you have trouble with the link, try going to http://usajobs.opm.gov and looking up Job Announcement Number:WAS-360325-KW

[identity profile] vicar.livejournal.com 2005-06-20 12:55 pm (UTC)(link)
I've double and tripled checked - the link works fine from my computer. What do you mean it's breaking shit? Where does it go and what does it appear as to your computer?

no, he means to have it look like THIS

"job - click here" (http://jobsearch.usajobs.opm.gov/getjob.asp?JobID=31134281&brd=3876&AVSDM=2005%2D06%2D17+08%3A18%3A52&sort=rv&vw=d&Logo=0&FedPub=Y&lid=17514&FedEmp=Y&SUBMIT1.x=83&SUBMIT1.y=21&jbf571=3&ss=0&TabNum=4&rc=7)

so that the super long url stops screwing up all the LJ pages

Edited - I was wrong, where I used to work a degree was required for a career ladder - this announcement just talks about experience. So no, no degree is required!
