I haven't read any goth-bashing in his column, but then I haven't read the column lately. I don't think the fat-goth stereotype is actually based on goths so much as on fat angsty high school girls that are into the cure, which does not automatically make them goth. It just makes them fat angsty high school girls. The majority of the people I know and see at clubs are not fat.

I don't buy the thing about fat people just enjoying life more through food, I think that's crap. Stuffing yourself until you feel ill is not enjoyable, and neither is being perpetually hungry or having to eventually haul your ass around in a cart with an oxygen tank. That is what awaits a good deal of people that are obese, and following his logic they're just really enjoying life through food.
