I know I don't write about anything except the house, but I've been sick this week. Also, no apologies.
Got a call from Jordan last night who was worried - he had signed off for delivery of my w/d, but was very uncomfortable about it because they were unboxed and scratched. I reassured him they were scratch and dent from the start. Not sure why he didn't just call or text at the time, meh, but I like his focus and call.
Quick notes as I try to work at home sick again:
1. He recommends a more square vanity as every angle in the master bath is square. I chose a home depot vanity because houzz and lowes' suck worse but for more money.

Some others just went on sale this AM of course.
2. Bill for hall brick vs. framing - actually he never bid on framing (or so he thinks). He didn't anticipate it and didn't bill when it needed doing.
2b - he didn't charge for cleaning up the exposed brick in the living room.
3. He thinks I can move in this weekend, but won't have a sink (anywhere I think), hopes to have heat (HOPES), and there won't be a glass wall in the shower. Also, the upstairs floor will still need buffing. I might move some things in there, but not a lot. This does not fit my perspective of able to move in.
4. He hopes to have the upstairs floors all done by the end of December (main and top/br).
5. Next week he thinks they'll be doing both the kitchen and the living room floor.
6. Kitchen cabinets in the basement are white.
7. Basement, he suggests an accent wall to show the change from kitchen to living room, but better to wait until the framing and walls are up to get a better feel of the place.
8. Living room (front of the house) radiator is still pending - can hook up a bypass for now.
9. Anticipates being done with the basement by the end of January.
10. Does not expect any invoices for December (but note possible finish in January).
