(no subject)

I forgot to go to the grocery store last night after spending the evening with gf's cat, so today's coffee includes the leftover failed "milk cubes" experiment.

My fb is at https://www.facebook.com/vicarz, I take most non-spam friend requests. I'm a little brash on fb, for instance telling people not to post only-picture-memes on occasion, cussing, and as always my dry sardonic expressions.

I saw the doctor yesterday - actually I'm ok, could theoretically lift. I have a couple prescriptions to help me over the hump, and a chest brace (really, between a boxing hand wrap and a girdle) (since I'm fat, this may work out) to help me not hurt when I cough.

I'm in a mild work-panic, though I've met 2/4 deadlines and am now prepared (mostly) for the deposition next week. It's just that following week is allegedly move-in week. Everyone yelled at me to hire movers - I may at least call some today to try and get prices. With all the prior delays I'm scared to make a committment. Sure, columbus day weekend (or day) sounds nifty - but how likely is it really? I could also move in stages - I'm so not-classy I could still move enough to live...in both places I think...via the car. But...what about internet?

I'm overdue on a house post - shit's moving fast, but I am busy now, tired, and I can't find the (sim?)card to my camera which frustrates me greatly.

Yes, you are hiring movers. Hiring movers is one of those things you do once, you're never going back.

Why do you have to move Columbus day weekend?

Because, as a Hispanic, it is fitting for him to be displaced from his longtime home on Columbus Day.

It was a projected and really convenient date.

Now I'm more worried about appliances.
