As the equally stubborn queer who has a cellphone, but refuses to bring it to the club, movies or events unless she is worried about a ride, I understand. I may spend loads of time online when curled up in pain, but if I make it out I want to leave the potential distraction at home. And on the rare cases when I do carry it, I ignore it until it's needed.
