I want to get married this VD

I'm slightly serious. I want to go marry some gay guy just becuase I'm so pissed off that there is more energy being spent preventing people from doing things than say, well you know my list of regular political issues. I've been told that marrying a gay chick won't quite fit the bill.

The thing I worry about is a bunch of people running out and getting married just because they can, and then the right-wing finding statistics that indicated that a vast majority of the relationships fail (unlike straight marriage *cough*).

My best joke tonight: showing up with my army jacket on and telling people I was in costume. Someone guessed Bush, I said correct - but why?
Right answer: because I'm wearing a uniform even though I never served in the military.
